This was a fun year for Christmas as Rylee was just the right age to really "enjoy"! We went to wake her up in the morning and she groggily laid back down until we said, "Santa came last night!" Apparently, that was all she needed to hear because she popped right up with eyes wide open and scrambled to her feet! We spent the morning with Em this year and had a grand ol' time in the midst of the boxes and trimmings. Everything princess and artsy too, she is in heaven!
The Christmas eve traditional Nickellfest was grand too. Then we spent a bit of time with the Biglers and Dwight, who was home for the hollidays and of course gained 20 pounds!! The nativity was complete with a lion (Abrahm), poodle (Abby) and of course the Wise dudes with the feather dusters bringing the gift of laughter! Joseph played himself (Joseph!) and did a great job. As always... very funny :-)
